Middle of January

I feel like all I'm doing these days is playing catch up in the blogging world.  So here we go:

Trever: Back in Lubbock and is about to tackle the spring semester at Texas Tech.  He is registered with another round of Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering classes and will keep working his butt off to get into the Petroleum Engineering program.  BUT, he will have mechanical engineering to fall back on if he isn't accepted into the program next spring.  You can only get accepted into the program during the spring semesters and you must have a 3.2 or higher with a Texas Tech gpa.  He is going to umpire this spring as a job and make some pretty good money doing it.

Taydem: She is starting to read like a champ.  So proud of her.  Softball sign ups are coming up in a couple of weeks and she will play that this spring! She's still in gymnastics once a week.  And her BFF is still Julia! They adore each other.  She's also my biggest helper in the whole wide world with Tenlee.  She's such a big sister.  And Tenlee LOVES her.  I can't even explain it.  Taydem walks in the room and Tenlee smiles and then waits for Taydem to make her laugh.  And believe me, Taydem can make her laugh spot on every time.  Taydem is the sweetest most thoughtful most independent girl ever.

Leven:  He has over 40 girls right now playing club volleyball.  That's A LOT! So he is very busy trying to keep up with all of them.  And I promise you, he will do his best.  He has a 6th, 7th and 8th grade team that all have just Carthage girls on the teams.  They practice two days a week in Carthage.  So Leven opens up the gym for those three teams.  I coach the 8th grade team.  Then his older girls all tryed out for whichever club team they wanted to play for and they practice either in Tyler or surrounding Longview area gyms. Busy! He loves every minute of it.  It can be tiring, but it makes him proud.  He hates it when I'm coaching though.  Because guess who's on baby duty....HIM!

Devin:  I'm in my 7th year coaching club and this is one of my favorites teams.  They are so coachable! Really great team.  Having a ream likes this makes me want to keep coaching.  I love it.  It's something I enjoy doing.  Our first tournament is tomorrow in Plano.  My job is super busy.  We still aren't in our new office.  OMG! Hopefully next week....we shall see.

December was a horrible month for us with our home building.  It was such a wet month, it literally put us behind, well a whole month.  We have the pad finished.  Next week, we hope for concrete and plumbing!!! Rain stay away.  Once we get the concrete poured maybe we can get things moving.
